Location and Times

Approach Bacchus Marsh from Melbourne heading west on the Western Hwy.

Take the first Bacchus Marsh exit, left onto The avenue of Honour (Bacchus Marsh Road).

We are the last orchard as you enter the township, 2 minutes from the Highway.

We offer Pick Your Own visits during fruit season (see below). Entry is free and fruit is priced per kg. Enjoy access to the idyllic orchards, friendly hosts, photo opportunities, refreshments and optionally, catered events.

Paynes Orchards open times:

Main summer celebration season – December.

• Until 23rd December visitors welcome when ripe fruit remains available - peaches & nectarines most days (approx 11 – 5); cherries periodically - bookings priority.
• Buses (eg Probus, school, special function, tour group), or several cars together MUST book well in advance - for shed sales, optional walk ‘n talk, catering, and PYO if available on day of booking.

Closed 24 December, re-open during some of January for peaches and nectarines, a few plums etc.

No cherries after December, apricots were lost to that big frost; berries drastically reduced because of protracted drought!.

From late February apples may become available. Please phone for further information, bookings etc
